Business Requirement Document (BRD)

1. Purpose

RentPrompts is seeking skilled creators who can generate high-quality marketing and learning/training videos using AI tools and video editing software. This bounty is for creators with a strong visual storytelling sense, proficiency in AI video generation, and the ability to polish content with professional post-production editing.

2. Scope

The candidate will:

  • Use AI tools to generate videos (from script, text, images, voice, or animation)
  • Edit raw videos provided by the client or generated by AI
  • Deliver final videos ready for publishing (with sound, transitions, animations, subtitles, etc.)
  • Support ongoing video needs across multiple use cases (product marketing, explainer videos, tutorials, promotional reels, etc.)

3. Key Responsibilities

AI Video Creation - Use tools like VEO3, Runway ML, Pika Labs, Sora, HeyGen, Synthesia, etc.
Raw Footage Editing - Import, cut, trim, overlay, color-correct, effects, and finalize raw footage Audio Enhancement - Add music, voiceover, fix audio clarity, and sync sound Brand Alignment - Ensure visuals follow RentPrompts’ or given brand tone, fonts, and color palette Subtitle & Text Overlay - Add contextually appropriate subtitles, callouts, and on-screen instructions Format Optimization - Export in required formats: MP4, WebM, vertical (9:16), square (1:1), etc.

4. Deliverables

Each video submitted must include:

  • Final edited video file (1080p or higher)
  • Project source files (if applicable)
  • Brief description of the AI tools used (for auditability)
  • Editable subtitle file (.srt or hardcoded)
  • Thumbnail (if requested)

5. Required Skills

  • Familiarity with AI video generation tools (e.g., Runway, veo, Pika Labs, Kaiber, Synthesia)
  • Intermediate to advanced video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, etc.)
  • Understanding of digital storytelling and content for different formats (Instagram, YouTube, LMS)
  • Ability to follow creative briefs and adapt to feedback quickly

6. Submission Criteria

Each applicant must submit:

  • A portfolio showcasing past work (link)

  • At least 2 samples showing:

    1. AI-generated video from script/image
    2. A raw-to-final video editing transformation

Applications without samples will not be considered.

7. Acceptance Criteria

  • Video quality: Visuals must be clear, professionally polished, with smooth transitions and coherent flow.
  • Branding: All videos must adhere to RentPrompts brand guidelines, including use of approved fonts, logos, and color schemes.
  • Timely delivery: Videos must be delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe for each task.
  • Tool disclosure: Creators must transparently list all AI tools used during the video creation process.
  • Version control: Proper file naming conventions and versioning must be followed to maintain organization.
  • Client feedback incorporation: Must be open to and capable of making reasonable revisions based on client feedback.

8. Reward Structure

    • Short-form reel or up to 30-seconds explainer video
    • Requires minimal editing
    • Reward: 1000 – 1500 Joules credits

  • Intermediate

    • Script-based AI-generated video
    • Includes voiceover and multiple rounds of edits
    • Reward: 1500 – 2500 Joules credits

  • Advanced

    • Fully storyboarded marketing video
    • Includes transitions, animations, and multi-format exports (e.g., horizontal + vertical)
    • Reward: 2500 – 4000+ Joules credits

Top performers may be offered long-term work or retainership roles.

9. Notes

  • This is an ongoing need — applicants may be added to a preferred creator pool.
  • RentPrompts retains commercial rights to all videos submitted for accepted bounties.
  • Joules credits can be used across the RentPrompts ecosystem for building apps, assets, and services.
